Corn & Cheese Burger

Ingredients                                                     

80g Charcoal roasted sweet corn (Shelled)

40g Grated boiled potatoes

40g Grated cottage cheese  

5g Chopped parsley

Lettuce

Tomato slices

Bread crumbs

1nos egg                                                      

Crushed peppercorn to taste           

Salt to taste      

Cheese slice   

Burger bun           

Oil for frying       

Soft Butter                                 

Method

Take a pan, and add sweet corn, potatoes, cottage cheese, parsley, salt & peppercorn.

Mix well and make a round ball. Flatten it in the shape of a burger patty.

Beat the egg in a bowl. Dip the burger patty in the egg mixture, remove the extra egg and cover it with bread crumbs. Tap it well.

Crisp fry in preheated oil. Fry till golden colour and tap the extra oil with paper tissues.

Cut the burger bun from the center. Apply butter and toast it on a flat pan.

Take the bun base, place the lettuce, tomatoes, and the fried burger patty. Then place the cheese slice and cover it with the bun top.

Serve it with french fries/potato chips and garden greens.

Note:

Panko crumbs will give better results.

You can use your choice of sauces while assembling the burger. E.g tomato ketchup, thousand island, flavoured mayo, mustard sauce, etc.

Vegetarians can replace the egg mixture with refined flour slurry.
